    Question:
i have a husqvarna 125bt, and the primer bulb won't prime. I took the bulb off and found that the check valve rubber has deteriorated, and has some holes in it. I would imagine that's why the primer doesn't work, but the part # 531009621 shows that it's no longer available. Are there any alternatives to this piece? Seems silly to trash a leaf blower over a $.05 piece. any help is appreciated.

Tillotson parts have been hard come by for some time now just like older Tecumseh engines. Even sourcing it thru Kawasaki isn't possible. Their part number was 11010-3591.

You could try converting to the Walbro WYJ-336 carburetor; you would also need to change the carburetor adapter.

The cost involved may be prohibitive depending what your willing spend and the overall condition of that blower.

I have been searching for the replacement carb, and came across this (RepairClinic Item #1739528 | Kawasaki Genuine OEM Part #16087-2059). This looks almost identical. Do you think there's a chance that this could work?

before I order, do you know if small tears in the valve would cause fuel delivery issues?

Yes those small tears could cause problem as that is check valve to prevent back flow of air from the purge line.

As for part your found it looks like it might work since the Primer assembly is very similar on the Kawasaki TH043D-CJ80 vs the Kawasaki TJ027D-AC55. I just not 100% as I have only seen a couple of these carbs over the years on Stihl trimmers.
