I'm working on a Husqvarna 232r trimmer that has no spark. I've already tried different spark plugs, disconnecting switch, changing switch, checked flywheel (has good magnetism and key), changed coil. Still no spark. Any ideas?
by disconnecting the kill switch you ruled out the switch itself, however the small wire going to it may be worn from vibration to the point where it's exposed and shorting itself... just a thought, if it connects to the module try unhooking it there instead of at the switch
got your reply to my inbox, never saw it here, yet. You must be pretty frustrated, still a bad module is indicated, was the other one you tried known to be good/ new? is it light blue or black? stay with the basics, and you will cure this, just need to focus on standard troubleshooting procedures - I realize you have been doing that, I have seen brand new modules that never fired once........ best of luck and I hope you post back the cure

I've disconnected the wires both at the switch and the module itself but still nothing.
