Question:
6 month old HU700F self propelled walk behind. Used maybe 25 times since April, on 1/3 acre. Last 3 weeks there is a black dust accumulating around the belt cover. I never use the partial variable speed position, Either all on or off. Belt wear creating the dust? Thanks.
Answer
Something may gotten into the belt cover area and wearing the belt heavily. The black dust is from the belt is being destroyed b y something rubbing on it.
