All mowers that Husqvarna produces comply to ANSI voluntary safety specifications for power mowers.
That specification states that mower blades must not exceed 19,000 Feet Per Minute. So a shorter blade can turn a faster RPM while a longer blade must turn a slower RPM. We do not publish our blade tip speed, as it depends greatly on the length of the blade as to what the voluntary regulation allows.
So you could look at another mower with a shorter blade and then look at one of ours and the blade tips might seem slow. If both mowers used the same physical length blade then doubtless if both brands adhered to the voluntary standard then both blades would be less than 19,000 typically by at least 1000 FPM.
