    the pull cord on my Poulan PPP338PT pole saw will not connect. When I pull on it I do not get any resistance. It is a new saw and has only been used one time. What could be the problem/ Thanks

    Hi and thanks for using the Answer Army to post your question.

    There are starter pawls that grab and turn the engine over. For reasons unknown the starter pawls are not grabbing and may just need to be adjusted or replaced.

    Your best bet is to take the unit into one of our authorized service centers and have them take a look at it. Just follow the link below to find a center in your area.
