Hedge Trimmers

I have a GHT 220 Hedge Trimmer sn#00342N200406-2 I ordered a new assy/gear box HOP-530071931. The four holes that you screw the plate gear box back together with screws and the two holes that you screw the blade back onto..... are larger in circumference than the old part that broke. My old screws will not fit. Can you help me in figuring out which screws I need? Did they change the size of the holes and I need a set of new screws? Everything except the screws fitting is a perfect match. I can if needed send pics with a ruler showing the different sized holes from old part to new part.
