Sharpen/hone the blades?
Details:
I'm a certified tightwad. My 450x has been on my 1.25 acre lawn for just shy of 6 weeks and It appears that he ("Sheldon") is starting to shred the grass a fair bit. I have an original-purchase second set of blades to slap on, but has anyone successfully sharpened or honed an Automower's blades?
Answer
I Would not.....If you replace the Blades you will see why..the screw that holds the blade will be almost cut half way thru the hole will be elongated. and the blades will be tapered..thinner at front. Look online for Blades you can find deals(ebay) $8 -30 blades/screws 30X0.75MM size ---Biwecity
