We could not find an overall belt routing diagram, but the Operator's manual does cover belt replacement with several different illustrations.
You can download the manual from on-line sources:
Go online to Husqvarna.com; click on Husqvarna Lawn Equipment for Homeowners, then Customer Support. There you can click on Manual/Parts Lookup at right, then on Click Here in the body of the message. Enter 970 on the model search line and you should find a 970 Owner's Manual.
