Walk-Behind Mowers

Hi folks-

I'm having a bit of a problem here with a Weed Eater 300 series mower. This is it's third season; it has between 30-40 hours of use. There are cracks running across the deck. Big cracks. I checked with the local service center about obtaining a replacement deck, when they got done laughing they suggested contacting Weed Eater, which lead me here. I figured I better check and see if this is a known problem and how to prevent it, and to see if a replacement deck was available.
