    Question:
Problem with service from selling dealer
    Details:

purchased a 570bts from my local dealer. I upgraded from a 350bt purchased from the same dealer. While using my 570 in the winter to clear light fluffy snow from my driveway the blower started suffereing from, by all indications, a fuel starvation issue. While running at anything over half throttle it almost quit until the throttle was returned to idle. It would idle fine. The longer it sat at idle the longer you could run it at higher rpm’s until the same issue would happen again. Rinse, wash, repeat. When using it this last fall it worked perfectly. Could go thru a full tank at full throttle without a hiccup. My 350 never had this issue even while using it when the temps were below zero. Dropped off at my dealer early Feb.  Did not hear from them for about three weeks so stopped by.  Said he will get to it Monday. That was three weeks ago and still no word. It’s now past mid March. He’s had it for over six weeks and all I have to show is a claim receipt. Dealers name, p/n, s/n available upon request. Purchased 10-20-2017.

You can call 1 (800) 487-5951 Customer Service,

Now without me having the unit in my hands it does sounds like a carburation issue.  Either is too lean or you might had been carb icing issue at these temps and idling is warming the carburetor and de-icing. It could even have a spark arrestor problem. Not knowing what carburetor Husqvarna is now using (suspect a Chinese clone) I can't say if it is even adjustable.

I had 3 Stihl BG55 in the shop during freezing temp operations that were too lean for the temps. Later one of them came back with a dieseling problem that dealer could not find anything wrong with it (warranty issue, less than 6 months old). I brought it back and took it for a field test and it was still acting up so I pull out my own non-invasive test equipment. I found that it after had warm up it was running at excessive speeds. When put my inductive tach on it, it was accelerating pass the coil's cutoff speed limiter; so much that it was running without any spark as coil was completely shutting down. To make the story short it is was a failing spark plug developing a hot spot at full throttle. Replace the plug and all is well.

Just to show some dealers techs can't fix an uncommon problem. In my case I was dealing with a tech that didn't even know how to do a pressure/vacuum test of the crankcase and I had to walk him through how to do the test.
