    Question:
I have a RZ5424. I had to replace the idler pulley for the hydraulics. I cannot find a diagram for this pulley. The parts manual has a diagram of sorts, but its difficult to follow. As soon as I get the belt back on and engage the levers the belt slips off. I'd like to verify I have the belt on correctly. Is there a specific diagram on the hydraulics belt?

It does, thank you for the quick response..

I must have something else going on as That is how I had it installed. As soon as I engage the hydraulics the belt falls off. I have someone helping tonight to help diagnose the failure as I can't engage the hydraulics and be under the mower at the same time.

      Thanks again for the help.

I have been suffering the same problem with belt slipping off since I first purchased mower.  I have bought 5 belts and only used mower one summer.  This year I started the mower engaged the blade belt and off it went.  Looking hard for solution to problem.  I spotted the belt is right up against the brake lever adjustment on the left side under the engine.  There is one on the right side as well.  The one on the right has plenty of room from the belt.  The left one is worn and polished by the belts contact with it. There is no way it should be like that.  I don't see how to fix it.  Looks like the engine should be mounted a little more to the right.  I bought it new at tractor supply co.  Well at least I know what the problem is.  A very poorly assembled product. $3,400.00 for a major pain in the rear and the belts are High too.  Sure wish I had bought a cub cadet.

Eugene, thank you for posting this diagram. Why Husqvarna does not have this diagram in a manual somewhere I don't know. My idler pulley literally melted (why it's plastic and not steel i also don't know) and the belt fell off. I replaced the pulley then couldn't figure out how the belt went on. Your diagram is spot on!

Actually there is a possible metal version available just costs about twice that of the plastic version.

You can try PN 532123674. The center standoff may need changing out. I haven't seen the 539110311 to know if this is the case.

Sorry can't repost until Photobucket stop holding my images hostage. Demanding 399 ransom for their release. Don't currently have a local copy due Hard drive failure. They would even let me download them to my system.
