    Question:
i have model PP4218A chain saw, used one time ... ran perfect, started fine and ran great .... i then drained unused mixed gas from the tank and stored the saw in the included carry case. purchased in May 2016; i went to use it yesterday, Sept 29; added appropriate oil/gas mix and the saw started as i expected. when i went to use the saw it slowed and stalled as i started to cut a fairly small tree limb. thinking i didn't add enough fuel and the inlet filter wasn't fully immersed in the fuel, i topped off the tank. Again, it starts just fine but when it gets under a cutting load, it slows and stalls. the chain break is not engaged; it appears the motor is starving for fuel under power, not idling. i then removed the black top cover thinking one of the fuel lines had come loose or was split; there was no visible leakage or split/loose fuel lines. it appears when under a cutting load the carb or fuel lines are drawing air from somewhere and starving the carb for fuel ... i returned the saw to northern tool in Garland, Tx, they do not have a service tech and could not help me. they suggested i contact PP; any suggestions or can you tell me where a local service center is in the eastern Dallas County Texas area (zip code 75043)
