I have a Husqvarna HU775H mower. starts but shuts down immediately. I think there is a missing spring between throttle and bracket that mounts behind carb. mower will run if I manually operate throttle.

Yes the governor spring is missing. Will need the engine model and type number from the side of the engine. It is engraved.
But I am thinking it is PN 796484 though with the engine info I can verify the Briggs part number.
