    Question:
Guide Bar & Chain for Model 36 Chainsaw
    Details:

This model is from 1996, but still starts and runs fine.  It has a 16" bar.  I would like to purchase a new guide bar and chain for it.  The bar is stamped: 530-044508 QL and under that 16   91.
The specs for the chain are: length=16, pitch: 3/8 or .325, thickness of links: .050 and it has 56 drive links.  I can't find the appropriate/current part numbers on line for the bar or chain.  Do you think I'm out of luck for a chainsaw this old?  My local dealer doesn't think parts are available for it.  Thanks!

With it being 16" with 56 DL you have 3/8 (.375) low profile setup. You need a bar with an Oregon A041 bar mount that is the .375LP version with the matching 56DL .375 chain. Most likely you will the .050 gauge bar and chain.

These are easy to get it is the other parts for the saw that are getting hard to come by.
