Difference in manuals for spark plugs.
    Husqvarna YTH2348 says = Champion QC12YC (Gap: .040")
    Briggs & Stratton Intek V-Twin 23HP says = B&S Long Life Platinum spark plug 5066 (Gap: .030")
    Dont want to damage engine.
    Please clarify. Thank you.

Both are resistive type plugs. The "R" indicates a resistor plug and the "Q" a EMS (electromagnetic suppression) resistor plug used to reduce noise in sensitive digital electronic circuits.

If your manual says to used the QC12YC @.040 then that what you should use; although, you can use the Briggs 5066 (RC12YC) in most small engine applications without problems as long you gap it @ .030.
