    Hi,

    I need to replace the 20" bar on a 455 Rancher manufactured in 2006.

    The part # on the bar is 545005404, but this seems to have been discontinued.

    What is the proper replacement part?

        How does 608000157 differ from 531300440, which is also listed as FT280-72?

      Are part # 608000157 and # 531300440 identical except that 531300440 comes in clamshell packaging?

        Specs are the same and it very well be the clamshell packaged version had a different number to refer it as package this way way. Honestly I don't the actual answer but this make the most sense based on how other vendors do things.
