    Question:
I just purchased a new 1827EXLT snow thrower. After putting it together I tried to transport it within my garage. I pull on the freewheel control to disengage the transmission, but it does not appear to work. Am I missing a step or doing something wrong? As an aside, the freewheel control is shaped differently that the picture in the manual. When I pull it out and slide it to the right, it locks against the snowthrower.

    Hi Jeffery

Thanks for contacting Husqvarna to post your questions.

No, you are operating the Free Wheel lever properly. You may need to rock the unit back and forth to free up the transmission. If this does not work, I would recommend having your Snow Thrower checked and repaired by your local Husqvarna Dealer. You can follow the link below to find your local dealer. /images/us/homeowner/dealers/dealer-locator/

Thanks again from the Husqvarna technical team.
