    Question:
Poulan Pro 400e electric chainsaw - Not oiling

I am on my second Poulan Pro 400e electric chainsaw this month. Last one, the on/off switch broke the first day. The new one doesn't oil. Sounds the same as what this owner experienced:

Brand new saw. Filled with fresh oil. But oil doesn't make it to the blade.

Poulan customer service (by phone) advised on returning, rather than dealing with a repair. Checking here to see if there is anything reasonable I can do to get this saw running, or if I'm on to saw number three.

    Hi Jeff

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

I apologize for the inconvenience you have encountered with your machines. In the future if you are having problems with your Craftsman saw you can take it to an authorized service center through Sears and they can get you taken care of.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team

I gave up and returned both saws today to Amazon. There seem to be two distinct flaws in these saws. I hope Poulan addresses them for the sake of future customers and its brand reputation. Meanwhile, I bought a Craftsman. Elegant as a rock, but it has the core features I want and a 2-yr warranty.
