    Question:
I am the owner of a Husqvarna 575XP 965 76 02-00 s/n 08 0500491. It is my understanding that many of this model came with a defective crankshaft that caused premature failure of the crank seals. I would like to know if my saw is part of this group. If it is, do I have a remedy for getting it repaired? I really like my Husqvarna saws, and have owned many of them. I currently am also the proud owner of a 372XP. Both saws have little use so far. Thanks, Joe.

    Hi Joe,

    Thank you for contacting Husqvarna.

We have no known issues on that crankshaft for that saw. I see no service bulletins referencing the crankshaft. All the service bulletins I see are before your serial number so your saw should be up to date from the factory. Hope this helps
