    Question:
Is the Husqvarna Rider ("articulated" riding mower) available for sale in the US? If so, is there a list of dealers that stock this unit? If not, can a consumer purchase the mower from a dealer outside of the US and have it shipped to either a local US dealer or themselves? The Husqvarna's US website doesn't list the Rider but the Canadian website does. There are a number of Husqvarna dealers in the Vancouver, BC area...so, should I attempt to contact one of them?

Thank you for contacting the AnswserARMY.

We appreciate your interest in our products.

Currently we do not offer the articulating models in the US market. It would be possible to find a dealer that has a unit in inventory.

I have been of the understanding that we will likely have 2 articulating models again for the 2012 year.

Husqvarna does not allow international shipping of product also depending on the state you are in and the emissions regulations a machine sold in Canada may not be allowed to be brought into the states. Also WARRANTY does not cross international boundaries and there could be parts aquisition problems. A unit sold in Canada there may be no parts available in the USA, they very likely are not even available to the US market.

I would encourage that you wait and purchase the unit intended for your country.
