Nowhere in your literature on the WE261 have I been able to find the rated H.P. of the Briggs & Stratton engine used in it. I'm interested so that I can compare it with the Murray 30" ride-on mower that I currently own, which has a 12 H.P. B & S.
The local retailer could not even tell me.

FAQ 633. Why can't I find horse power ratings for new equipment?
In the past different engine manufacturer's could rate horsepower using different methods and thereby the ratings were not uniform. The move to use torque as the accepted rating has been made by most of the engine manufacturer's.
Most engine manufacturer's no longer offer us the information of horsepower for certain engines. This is an industry wide change.Please visit this link for more information.
