I have a 324LDx motor head with a trimmer and edger attachment.
I purchased the PA1100 pole saw attachment since all online references said this was supposed to fit. When it arrived, it did not fit. There is a plastic tab that extends outside of the shaft that keeps the attachment from sliding into the motor head. The "authorized husqvarna dealer" had no clue and said it should fit. Included pictures show this plastic tab that is part of the inner sleeve in the tube. My other attachments don't have this tab.
1. is this the correct pole saw part for this motor head?
2. if yes, how do I get the attachment to slide in? (file off tab??)
