    Question:
My Husqvarna 128DJX is just a couple years old, and I’ve always kept Stabil in it, but this spring it’s started a thing where after you prime, choke, and start it, and warm it up a bit, you can put it into the half-choke position, but if you fully unchoke it, it either dies or comes close; and when you try to rev it, it just bogs down and possibly dies. Even if I use it for half an hour, I can’t fully unchoke it. Any ideas for something to try short of bringing it it and spending $?
    Thnx...

Needs at least a carburetor adjustment and a new metering diaphragm if not a complete carburetor cleaning and rebuild.

Hmmm. Thanks Eugene. Odd, I've always had good luck using Stabil in all my engines. Wonder what is the cause of this...

You got remember that some the parts are now being source from China which have poorer quality controls. Also some fuel oil and fuel have additives that actually do more harm than good sometimes.

I have seen high quality Tygon fuel line to just fall apart in some of customers fuel mixes while in others it become rock hard. Same thing can happen the metering diaphragms although most it them becoming overly stiff.

Side note I have limited experience with Stabil but haven't had problems with in my 4 cycles. The fuel oil I use already has the stabilizer in it so there no there need for to add it the fuel mix.
