    Question:
I bought a backpack leaf blower 125B about 4-5 yrs ago. I bought this unit based on the name. The dealer put it together, started it and I went on my way. It was used maybe 30 mins that day. About a wk later I went to use it and it would not start or even try to. Took it back to the dealer, they kept it and about a wk later they said it needed a new carb. That seemed to have taken care of the problem for sometime. This yr I have had problems.all yr. It was running bad, as if the carb was loading up,etc. Then after using it one day I shut it off, set it down and went about other chores. I returned later and found it pouring gas out. Took it to the dealer, they had it for quite awhile and called one day telling me it was ready. Picked it up after paying almost $70.00 dollars brought it home it no longer pulled gas but it still acted like it was going to die, etc. I took the unit back another 2 - 3 times for this problem and each time they said it was fixed. The last time I made the repair man run it while I was there. He agreed something was wrong and again kept it. When I received a call this time they said it needed another new carb. I take very good care of my equipment, from all appearances it still looks new. They said it would be $100.00, I argued that I just spent almost $70. To fixed the problem and it was not fixed and had to return it several times and if I spent $100.00 then I would have almost $170.00 dollars in it and could almost buy a new one for the cost. They would not budge on any of it. I left refusing to spend the money. I have continued to use it but it now is very hard to get it to start and stay running. I have echo products that I bought new in 1989 and it still runs today, the only problem I ever experienced was the filter in the muffler. I regret buying this ??? I guess I will go buy a new leaf blower, but I will never buy another Husqvarna product. I wish I had have known the quality of these items apparently dropped out along time ago. I tried the customer service number 3 - 4 times and each time it hung up on me.
Please make sure this gets to the right person/dept. thanks.
