    My new mower, ordered through Lowes online, is missing the orange rubber bands that go around the wheels. I'd really like to get them. How can I do so? My model is HU800HW.

    I am glad you decided to purchase the Husqvarna walking mower these units have been a great mower for us.

    While I understand your desire to have a different wheel assembly, the wheel you received is correct. The specifications have changed on the wheel assembly and it no longer includes the orange band. Also the orange band was never offered separately.

    The orange band that was used on the earlier production models was not a functional part, it was purely aesthetics.

    I hope you will enjoy your new mower for many years to come.

       I love the look of the orange rings on the wheels. My HU800BBC that was special ordered from Lowes also has those beautiful orange rings "missing". When did you change the look/specs for those wheels? Was it done to cut cost?

      Please note that one of the reasons why I bought this mower was its "sport car" look. I am very disappointed with the change, and it was done  without any notice.
