    Question:
Is it an accepted practice for a Husqvarna Dealer to require a mower to be broght into their shop before answering a warranty question, then perform repair work without concent of the owner or providing a response to the warranty question?
    Details:

After purchasing a small fleet of  Husqvarna mowers & other equipment (nearly $30K total) less than a year ago from the Husqvarna dealer on Guam (ERC), I was subjected to the above scenario.  I was only informed that the warranty did not apply after the unauthorized repairs were perforemed and presented with repair charges.  When I complained to the dealer I was litterally told, "That's too bad" and informed that the mower would not be released until I paid the charges for the unauthorized work they performed.

From a customers perspective any "authorized dealer" should be knowledgeable enough to answer a warranty question without running a scam like this on a customer, who has invested themselves in the Husqvarna brand.  I view the actions of this dealer as unethical and possibly illegal.
