Question:

I have a Husqvarna YTH21K46 riding mower. The front baffle recently came loose and conflicted with the mower blades rendering it useless. I have ordered a replacement baffle. My question is What is the purpose of this baffle? Can I operate the mower without it?

Yes you can operate without it but it just won't discharge clippings as well nor pull the vacuum as it should.
