    Where is my mulcher plug? I bought a 7021P mower from Amazon.com on 2/20/12 and it was delivered today. The model number sticker on the mower says 961330007 05 and I cannot locate that number on this site. (On-site model numbers do not end with 05 and the years listed only go up to 2011) The serial number is 013012M000297 which means that it was the 297th unit of this model, manufactured January 30, 2012. The OM (page 6, figure 6) says that to mulch or use the side discharge, I must install a mulcher plug. There was no mulcher plug provided with the unit, nor is there a mulcher plug on the 7021P Illustrated Parts Listings provided on this site. How can I get one? What is the part number and how can I get a mulcher plug. The unit was delivered today 2/24/12 by UPS.
    Details:

    The mower  has the Honda GCV engine and is a push unit.  The owners manual says that the unit is shipped with the mulcher plug installed, however, there was none.  Nor is an installed mulch plug an item that can be jarred loose or lost during shipping.  Amazon says it is either a damage issue with UPS or a warranty issue with Husqvarna.  I like the mower, but I'm not happy with what appears to be a runaround...

     Hi Milton,

    The "mulcher plug" is what you lift out of the way to install the bagger. The closed door when not bagging effectively makes it a mulching system. It is shown in the parts breakdown 532 41 06-03 and the description is calling it a defelctor. Hope this helps. Thanks for using our products.

      If I'm not mistaken the mulcher plug for this model of mower is built in to the back of the grass catcher door. There is not an extra part that you need to order.
