Leaf Blowers

I recently purchased a 130BT leaf blower. Today I tried to run it for the first time and it will not start. I'm using fresh fuel (89 octane) and mixed it with the oil according to the instructions in the manual.

I'm following the start up steps to the letter and the blower engine simply will not turn over. One would think that after 20 or so pulls a fresh out of the box blower would try to start.
