Mine does the same thing. I think it has something to do with an adjustment on the drive belt.... Im waiting to hear back on my post on the same thing....
I have the same problem also. I thought it was because the belt was worn, so I replaced it. My tractor will run for about 1/2 hour then I lose any motion. There is little information in the user manual to assist in troubleshooting. I am hoping someone has an idea what could be wrong.
I was finally able to figure it out. I removed my deck, but left the one cable attached, looked under it, and realized the belt wasnt routed properly around the clutch\brake lever. I cant rememeber which side it was supposd to go on, but if you get under it, and have someone push the clutch all the way down, you will have just enough room to slide that belt around the pully. I found this out by going to the local lowes i bought it from, and one of the guys there told me that it was a common problem, that the people who assembled them did not route the belt around the pully attached to the clutch lever. hope this helps!! my 42" automatic will now do wheelies!!! lol.. best of luck!
