Question:
455 Rancher - Discontinued Muffler screw, I purchased a new 455 Rancher about a month ago, and looked up Ordering a Muffler screw (725 53 68 55),Item 3 in attached diagram, and the part says its discontinued! How can this be? Its the same part for the Muffler for 460 chainsaws and several others, I called my parts supplier who suggested I call Husqvarna at 1-800-487-5951, I have always been put on hold, and never get an answer, Please help?

Marc, I went to a Husqvarna repair center, who told me the muffler bolts were no longer available, this is Not exceptable, since this is a new chainsaw also, and If a Husqvarna Dealer can't sell you the parts, I shouldn't have to search for them, or they shouldn't be a Dealer! I can always buy them on E-bay, which is real dumb if thats what Husqvarna wants me to do.
