Question:
trimmer 128 ld is not getting fuel. replaced primer bulb last week, and it started with one pull, and ran great, all day. this week, it will not start, not getting fuel again. could carb, or filter be clogged now?
Details:
run recommended ratio of fuel. drain fuel when not used in winter.
Answer
Yes the filters could be clogged. There are actually two involved. The primary filter is in the tank and the other which Zama calls a strainer. The newer strainer can clog very easily due to its extra high filtration rate and you can not see this this it is clogged as you can even see through the strainer unlike the older version.
Also due to you having to replace the primer bulb the primer base may be clogged with old fuel residue.
