    Question:
I purchased a new YTH21K46 from Lowe's on Saturday, Marchy 24, 2012. I went back to Lowe's to pickup an accessory for the tractor on Monday, March 26, 2012. At that time, they had to credit my Visa card for a couple of items being returned. When they tried to re-enter the tractor again, it was told the product could not be sold because of a recall. Lowe's could not advise why it was recalled. The Husqvarna product help line could not advise why there was a recall, only that Lowe's should not have sold it. So, my question is does Husqvarna tell me what I need to get fixed or do I return the product to Lowe's for my money back?

    Richard,

Lowe's employees abuse the word recall. A recall is something that is reported to the CPSC.gov site. This was a stop sale due to the fuel cap not venting properly. So no recall. Just call our customer service number at 1-800-487-5951 and they can send a new cap out to you free of charge.

    Thanks again.
