    Question:
New 1830 exlt just arrived. built the way Husqvarna makes motorcycles, i hope.

An easy (?) question. if i want to move this beast when its parked in the garage with engine off, I assume that the "free wheel" lever engages or disengages the wheels/tracks from the transmission to allow be blower to move when pushed. however, when i engage freewheel and put the blower in Transport position the blower refuses to move when pushed or pulled. serious applied muscle causes the tacks to move slightly and then the wheels meet resistance as if the tranny's engaged? Don't want to force movement and risk internal damage.

    Your advice appreciated

    thanks

    Hi Sid,

Thank you for contacting Husqvarna. Yes it is supposed to "freewheel" when the lever is pulled to disengage the transmission. You might not be moving it far enough to disengage and while I haven't tried to push one with the tracks I would think it would have quite a bit of rolling resistance. I would check to see if it is moving the lever the full range of motion. If it is not you would need to get into your dealer to have them check it out.

    Hope this helps.
