I have a 40B blower and need the priming pump that fits atop the fuel tank (Part #695000069). After consulting several parts suppliers I find it listed as unavailable. Is there a currently available substitute?
The rubber bulb is in good condition. Under the bulb are a couple of plastic balls that prevent black flow to the tank, a rubber diaphram into which the balls fit, and a couple of other plastic bits. Somehow one of the plastic balls has gone missing which means the check valve is no longer working; gas won't pump up to the carb. The exploded diagram showing the pump internals isn't terribly clear so I could be missing one of the other pump internal parts. Since I'm unsure what's bad or missing I thought to just replace everything.
Answer
Are you need the whole assembly or just the rubber bulb? Several of the parts site that I looked at shows the bulb still available.
