Riding Lawn Mowers

Bought a YTH24K48 this year. Has around 20 hours on it. Squeaking. Have used a grease gun on the front wheels -- didn't help. Have called for service -- will be one week til pick-up and up to THREE weeks before mower is returned. Rain, rain, rain this summer. We will have HAY before getting this mower back. Is it safe (as in will it hurt mower) to continue mowing?? Squeak is similar to what I've heard in older mowers -- but, unexpected in a mower that is less than a year old. Thanks.
