String Trimmers

I just bought a 525LST String trimmer which is replacing another Husqvarna string trimmer that lasted 12 years. It was a great trimmer that only weighted something like 8Lbs. My question is unlike the previous model that I stored upright on a hanger this model seems to leak fuel from the choke button (at least from what I can tell). Is this normal? Other than that it's a better trimmer than the last one even though it weighs more.
