String Trimmers

I have 223L trimmer. I went start, it cranked up immediately but died and woud not start again, since have changed the plug, put new fuel in (fuel for Husqvarna chain saw used which runs), checked for spark and spark plug arced on cylinder head, removed and cleaned out carb, and trimmer sounds like it has good compression and pisto does not look scarred. What can it be?
