Question:
The Owner's Manual that I received with my YTH24V42LS contains this gem under the heading of "TOWING CARTS AND OTHER ATTACHMENTS"
It says (this is verbatim) "Tow only the attachments that are recommended by and comply with specifications of the manufacturer of your tractor."
Ummm... Wait a minute. I thought YOU were the "manufacturer of [the] tractor". Aren't you? Don't YOU know what kinds of "carts and other attachments" can be towed? Don't YOU know the "specifications"? If YOU don't know, who does? Where can I find these "specifications" (IN WRITING) to which this statement refers? If an owner can't refer to the owner's manual for this kind of information, where should s/he look? And why doesn't the Owner's Manual already have it since that's EXACTLY the place where it should be. And don't tell me to ask the dealer. They don't know and don't want to be bothered by questions like this.
You need to do better. As a minimum, you should issue an update to the manual to include this information *officially*.
