Zero Turn Mowers

I purchased a Zero turn mower with a 54" deck. I am having trouble keeping the deck belt from coming off. The Belt keeper keeps comming loose causeing the belt to come loose.Even wit a considerable amount of torque, it stiil loosens to where the belt comes off the pulley.
