    Question:
Purchased the HU800AWD and it constantly leaves deposits of grass when I am either mulching or using side discharge. I always cut when grass is dry and I am not cutting much off. Love the mower itself, but this is not something I am willing to put up with. Have been working 33 years in the turf maintenance field and have never run across this problem before. Does anyone have a solution or have experienced a similar situation?

I am having the same issue, I moved from a 1992 Toro Super recycler to this unit. I only had clumping problems in tall grass. In looking underneth I did notice that th Toro has plastic pieces that interupt the grass flow and push it back on to the blade. The AWD is completely smooth. I must admit I should have spent the extra money and bought a new Toro. The old one died 2 weeks shy of it's 21st birthday. Will the steel deck AWD last that long, only time will tell.

I have the same problem it appears to be a design flaw in the mulching plug I hope they read this and come up with a fix.  The only solution I have come up with is to rake the clumps into the grass.

I'm having this problem also. Called Husqvarna several times and they offered no help. The last time I called they said they came out with a new blade for it to fix this problem. I thought great. They charged me 37 dollars and sent me the same exact blade that was already on it. I'm definitely pissed about it. I bought the mower at a little locally owned hardware store and they don't want to take it back.
