Generally, the bar tip sprocket will be thoroughly lubricated simply by the oil passing over it from the bar and chain oil, however you can add grease to it for further lubrication, though in spite of what the manual states doing so with every fuel change is somewhat excessive and can cause debris build up causing a quickening of wear, therefore it may be best to lubricate this with grease every 3rd or forth tank of fuel. The part number to our sprocket grease is: 502512701 and any good bearing grease will work.
