    Question:
Have a 130BT back pack blower. Starts fine and stays running, but only accelerates to about 1/2 throttle. Now it is making a knocking sound when it gets to 1/2 throttle. Cleaned filter and spark plug. Also changed out fuel

Replace the spark plug. The IPl shows it to be a NGK CMR7H. These plugs can fail this way as they can get to where they won't under the compression load; cleaning the plug won't do any good. I repaired two of the backpack blowers last year that where knocking and this was the case.

Also while the plug is out gives engine a few good pulls to clear any loose carbon.
