    Question:
I recently purchased 128LD trimmer and am having some issues with it. I picked up some fresh gas and mixed 1 gallon of fuel to the 2.6 ounces of oil included to make the 50:1 mix. The unit was assembled per the instructions. The problem I am having is the RPMs seem to waver at wide open throttle and the unit dies. The throttle response seems to be somewhat sluggish from comparison to other units I have had. What would/could cause these issues on a brand new unit out of the box? Its almost like there is a fuel restriction or possibly a restriction in the air filter. The air filter looks perfect.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

I would suggest that you take the unit to your locally authorized Husqvarna service center to have them adjust the carburetor and or inspect the fuel filter and or fuel line.

The carburetor adjustment is offered free of charge one time with in the first 30 days.

You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales and service and parts as well as manuals using the link.
