    Question:
YT46LS deck stop brackets need to have rubber stops, so will a solution and fix be made available to us? Also what gauge steel do you use for the frame? Is it 10 gauge steel? How long is my warranty on the tractor?
    Details:

On the Husqvarna YT46LS you state in the description that it has a 3 year limited / 5 year chassis and Axle / 10 year limited deck shell and that it uses a heavy-duty chassis. After I registered my YT46LS tractor Husqvarna sent me an email stating that my tractor only has a 2 year warranty. Do I have the 3 year warranty as promised to me at the dealer and  in the listing on your website or the 2 year warranty on the email registration I recieved? Also I have heard that the gauge of steel used for the frame is 10 gauge. Which would be fine. What gauge steel do you use for the frame? Last but the very most important part is there is no question the YT46LS is a great tractor, but being a new model for this year there is a quality control issue with the metal deck stops as they are causing damage to the deck through manufacturing design of the brackets. There needs to be some sort of Hard rubber on the end of these brackets or hard rubber applied on the top of the deck under these brackets where they hit the deck so no damage occurs to the deck while the brackets do there job. The brackets are hitting metal on metal and gouging the paint off right down to bare metal. Now this kind of thing sure doesn't give me much confidence about the possible future durability of the deck, Damage will continue to be done by these deck stops. And because the paint is being gouged off there will be rust occuring eventually. There is no rust as of yet,  but long time exposure of this kind of metal on metal contact will not be good. I have read the reviews and have talked with a few people on a lawn tractor forums who bought this same tractor and we all have this issue. I also had black paint rubbed off the back of the tractor by the rear hitch upon dealer delivery of my tractor. I assumed that happened during shipping. That didn't bother me very much as that sort of thing is a lot different then what I am referring to. I can understand random shipping damage that is not what I am talking about. I really like the tractor and I think it is the best bang for your buck but I really think this issue needs to be addressed and fixed. As it is not acceptable for consumers to spend $2199 plus tax and have this kind problem on every YT46LS, And if other buyers are anything like me, you keep your tractor covered and maintained and treat it well.  Only to just have this kind of damage occur to the deck becasue of the design flaw of those deck stops. And the repair solution should be simple and should be made available quickly to prior purchasers for free like myself. I had a choice and I picked this tractor instead of a John deere, cub cadet etc.. not because it was cheaper, but becasue I think for the money it is a better tractor. So don't think I am being biased or just bashing the brand Husqvarna because that isn't the case. I really hate to see the deck take damage the way it is just becasue of the way those deck stops were designed. Such a good well designed tractor deserves to have a simple problem addressed and quickly fixed. Thank you for your time as I look forward to your response. Hopefully in a timely manner.

Still no answer from Husqvarna? I would of expected a reply by now.

I can't believe no one has the time to address this. I just bought one and have the same problem. 9 months and they can't give an answer for this? Or come up with a solution?

Oh by they way I was on the phone with customer support and was pretty much told "tough". "You can return to the dealer and see if you can purchase some touch-up paint". I haven't even driven mine around the yard yet and it has bare metal showing. Kind of shabby for a $2000 mower!

I have the same problem with a YT42LS.  Brand new delivered this July 2015.  The mowing deck hits those two brackets and the coating on the deck is chipped exposing bare metal?  This is unacceptable for a brand new mower.  Are protective pads missing?  I need someone from Husqvarna to provide some quidance please.
