Walk Behind Lawn Mowers

I bought a HU550FH walk behind mower which has a sticker on the deck that shows it has a 3yr. warranty. This is the best warranty of any brand in this price point. Was a big factor in purchasing this mower. I just registered my mower and it has a 2 after warranty in the reply. Does this mean I bought a mower with a 2yr. warranty that is being sold by making you believe you have a 3yr. warranty. I hope this is a typo and not false advertising. Is there an answer out there somewhere?
