Question:

I have learned that the 380BTS is now called a 580BTS (the 71cc blower). I went to purchase a 580 at lowes and was told they could not obtain this model until Feb., 2012. Will Lowes carry the 580 in Feb.?? Or this spring even? Ironically...they could get a 370BTS. (But NOT a 380). And for $35 more, the 380/580 is a WAAAAY more CFM's & thus a "no-brainer"!

The 580BTS is the replacement blower for the 380BTS however the 580BTS has many improvements and improved performance. When first launched the 580BTS they could overheat. The units were recalled and corrected. The units are now available and offer excellent power/ weight combination. I am not sure if Lowe's will be offering this unit before spring but most Husqvarna Dealers are able to get the units now.
