I just purchased a Husqvarna st230p snow blower and it does not have an oil dip stick to tell when you are low on oil. Does anyone know if there is a dip stick for this model ?
thank you

From the IPL of the engine there appears to be a dip stick on crankcase cover much like the older Briggs and Stratton horizontal engines. The only difference is that these LCT engine has a high oil fill tube which customers/operator are mistaking for the older version that had a dipstick in.
If you look at the engine you find the non removal oil fill cap on the opposite side of the crankcase cover you should the lower oil fill cap/dipstick It should be black in color.
