String Trimmers

I am new to gas powered trimmer and just purchased 223L Trimmer. In the past I have only used electric powered trimmers. I figured it would be a good investment since I will be doing a lot of trimming and cutting in areas where there is no electricity. I looked in the manual and didn't see or missed the correct section on this and I didn't see any YouTube videos on this topic. I noticed that there is an oil port and gas port for this machine. Dose this mean that the trimmer mixes the oil and gas to the 50:1 ratio that I understand that the trimmers needs to run correctly? Or, does it require the 50:1 gas and oil mixture in the fuel tank, plus oil in the oil port to run correctly? Please advise.
