My brand new Husqvarna 440 leaks bar and chain oil. is this normal? It leaves a puddle anywhere it sits, unfortunately all over the back of my truck cab(inside).
I would recommend taking the chainsaw to a Husqvarna repair center and let them check it out, It may be a simple fix. I know on some of the Husqvarna Models, they have revised components of the oil system to reduce this problem, and it may be that your chainsaw needs these parts changed.
Also, I would recommend reading some of the FAQ's about oil leaks, and you may find a similar problem and solution. Just go to the top of the screen and in the search box, type "Oil Leaks", and press enter. You will see alot of possible solutions, I hope this helps.
